A writer of layered lyrics and memorable melodies, Miss Joanie has a knack for musically easing kids through difficult times. “The child in transition has become very interesting to me,” says Whittaker. “As adults, we know that periods of change can be frightening. Miss Joanie’s debut children’s CD, MISS JOANIE'S POTTY PARTY is the first of many CDs that will ease children through transitional periods. While exposing children to different musical styles such as blues, classical, and country, POTTY PARTY excites the adult ear as well. Miss Joanie’s longtime partner, Jason Erickson, is responsible for the guitar driven, high-quality production of the album.
